November starts the holiday spirit at West Virginia’s state parks
SOUTH CHARLESTON, W.Va. – Late November is the start of the holiday season, and in 2013, West Virginia state parks are getting ready.
“All of the lodge parks will be decorating for the season and encouraging families and friends to visit during these hectic times and enjoy some holiday relaxation and celebrations,” said Sissie Summers, state parks programming coordinator. “It’s a great time for family get-togethers or to just get away for a few days and enjoy some great food and warm fireplaces.”
During this time, West Virginia state parks will be offering various special events, discounts and promotions. Visit www.wvstateparks.com or call 1-800-CALL-WVA for more information about ways to make the holidays more enjoyable.
