DNR Reschedules Public Regulations Meetings in Fairmont and Martinsburg
SOUTH CHARLESTON, W.Va. - Two of the six public meetings designed to solicit public input on proposed hunting, trapping and fishing regulations scheduled for Monday, March 17, 2014, have been rescheduled because of the latest inclement weather and resulting school closings, according to Frank Jezioro, director of the West Virginia Division of Natural Resources. They are as follows:
The other four March 17 public meetings at Princeton - Chuck Mathena Center (Rotunda Room); Milton - West Virginia Pumpkin Park (Office Building); Spencer - Heritage Building; and Flatwoods - Braxton County High School; will be held as scheduled from 6 to 8 p.m.
"We apologize for the inconvenience this may cause and hope that interested individuals can adjust their schedules accordingly," Jezioro said. "We still would like to have their input into the decision-making process of setting this year's regulations."
All six public meetings scheduled for Tuesday, March 18, will still be held from 6 to 8 p.m. at Glen Dale - John Marshall High School (Cafeteria); Moorefield - South Branch Inn (Rt. 220); Elkins - DNR Operations Center; Beckley - Beckley-Raleigh County Convention Center; Logan - Chief Logan State Park Conference Center; and Parkersburg - City Building (lobby).
