West Virginia State Parks gift cards offer special coupons if purchased by Dec. 16, 2016

SOUTH CHARLESTON, W.Va. – Getting “Somethings Extra” is always a good thing when purchasing gifts, and West Virginia State Parks are offering several extra coupons when gift cards are purchased by Dec. 16, 2016.

Somethings Extra are eight coupons included with every $100 gift card purchased at the central office at 324 4th Avenue in South Charleston, online at www.wvstateparks.com, or by calling 304-558-2764.

“Giving state park gift cards is personal way to invite family and friends to return to a favorite state park or forest,” said Carol Stewart, who handles gift card sales at the state park system central office. “I get parents calling to purchase a card to cover a vacation for their children or grandchildren as well as spouses getting a gift card with a golf image on it for the golfer in the household. I also get folks buying a card for themselves to use in the future just to get the ‘Somethings Extra.’”

West Virginia State Park gift cards can be used for lodging (lodge or cabins), dining, gift shops or other activities where debit/credit card equipment is used at state parks and forests. Extras include two-for-one offers and other discounts. Unlike the gift card itself, which can be used any time for all purchases and services at all state parks and forests, “Somethings Extra” coupons have expiration dates. There is no shipping or handling fee. Cards and coupons are mailed via standard U.S. Postal Service.
