Access road to Dixon Lake on the Pedlar Wildlife Management Area temporarily closed to vehicles

FARMINGTON, W.Va. – Due to repairs to be completed on the Dixon Lake dam, located on the Pedlar Wildlife Management Area (WMA) in Monongalia County, the access road to the lake is temporarily closed to vehicular use, according to Steve Rauch, Division of Natural Resources district wildlife biologist.

The WMA is still open to public use and fishing is still open on Dixon Lake, but until repairs are completed, it will be by walk-in access only. Parking is available near the gate along Little Indian Creek Road. (CR41).

The access road to Mason Lake, also on Pedlar WMA, is open to vehicular travel.
