Babcock State Park Offers New Expanded Wi-Fi Services

CLIFFTOP, W.Va. — Overnight visitors to Babcock State Park in Fayette County can now enjoy wireless internet when staying in one of the park’s vacation, legacy and economy cabins. This expansion extends the park’s Wi-Fi service, which has been available at the campground area and in the parking lot near the administration building.

“Wi-Fi is an amenity many people look for when deciding where to stay overnight, so we are happy to expand our services to accommodate our guests,” said Babcock State Park Superintendent Clint Cochran.

Babcock State Park is one of West Virginia’s most visited parks. Popular activities include fishing, boating and taking photos of the Glade Creek Grist Mill. Guests may also wish to participate in the many nature activities planned by the park’s summer naturalist, Abby Rice. Activities include nature photography, a selfie scavenger hunt, a night hike, cookie and fudge making, bird feeding and an evening campfire.

To make cabin reservations or get details about events and activities, call 304-438-3004 or visit www.babcocksp.com.
