Barboursville Lake is a 17-acre impoundment located on the City Barboursville’s Community Park in Cabell County. Access to the lake is by County Route 31 and 31/7.

Description |
The lake was built in 1992 with a maximum depth of 10 feet and an average depth of 5 feet. A trail around the entire lake provides access for bank fishing. Camping, boating, night fishing and the use of live minnows are prohibited.

Fishery |
Barboursville Lake provides spring and winter fishing for stocked trout and a warmwater fishery for bluegill, channel catfish and largemouth bass, however all bass less than 12 inches must be released back into the lake. Trout are stocked in January and March.
