Boley Lake is an 18-acre impoundment located in Babcock State Park near Clifftop in Fayette County. It is 4 miles south of Hilton Village on U. S. Route 60 via WV 41.

Description |
The lake was built in 1965 with a maximum depth of 25 feet and an average depth of 12 feet. Boat rental is available at the lake and a nominal fee is charged to launch private boats. Electric motors only are allowed. A trail surrounding the entire lake provides bank fishing access. The use of live minnows is prohibited and only registered campers may fish at night. A campground is located in the park with 40 trailer and tent camping sites rented on a first come, first served basis. The camping season runs from May 1 to October 15. A total of 26 vacation cabins are also available.

Fishery |
Boley Lake provides a warmwater fishery for largemouth bass and bluegill. Trout are stocked monthly from January through April each year.
