Sherwood Lake is a 165-acre impoundment in Greenbrier County located 25 miles northeast of White Sulphur Springs and 11 miles northeast of Neola in the Monongahela National Forest. It is accessible from Neola via WV Route 92 to Delta Route 374.

Description |
The lake was built in 1958 with a maximum depth of 20 feet and an average depth of 10 feet. Several boat launching areas and a foot trail surrounding the entire lake provide fishing access. In addition, a standard 97-unit campground and a sandy beach with a modern bathhouse are present. Camping is on a first come, first served basis. Electric motors only are allowed.

Fishery |
Sherwood Lake is managed as a warmwater fishery for largemouth bass, bluegill, tiger musky and channel catfish. Trophy size largemouth bass are caught regularly and black bullheads up to 2 pounds also provide good fishing in Sherwood Lake. Fish attractors (pallets) have been placed in the lake.
