Parker Hollow Lake is a 34.5-acre impoundment located adjacent to County Route 11 (Parker Hollow Road), 1 ¾ miles off Old State Route 55 in Needmore, Hardy County. The lake is also easily accessible using the Baker, WV exit off of Corridor H, following Old State Route 55 through Baker to Needmore.

Description |
The lake was built in 2006 with a maximum depth of 35 to 40 feet. No camping is allowed and restrooms are not available. A concrete boat ramp and courtesy dock is available for boating convenience. Motor boats are restricted to electric motors only. The use of live minnows for bait is prohibited. A large parking lot, accommodating 30 vehicles, lies adjacent to the lake and provides easy maneuverability for boat trailers. The shoreline area adjacent to the parking lot also provides easy bank fishing access.

Fishery |
Parker Hollow Lake was stocked with a wide size group of bluegill and largemouth bass in 2007. Green sunfish were present in the watershed before the lake was filled and naturally breed with bluegill, creating hybrid sunfish fishing opportunities. Several channel catfish stockings have been conducted in conjunction with a variety of habitat enhancements, during and after the construction of the lake, to enhance sport fish populations and to encourage channel catfish reproduction. Black crappies are also present in the lake due to an unauthorized stocking by anglers. Crappie were stocked before an ideal forage base could be established by the DNR and therefore may never become a sustainable fishery. Several acres of standing timber remain in both Parker Hollow Run and Camp Branch arms of the lake and provide diverse fishing opportunities. Harvest limits of all sport fish currently fall under current state small impoundment regulations.
