Lumberport Lake

  Directions  Lumberport Lake is a 6-acre impoundment located 0.5 of a mile north of Lumberport in Harrison County. It is accessible from Lumberport by turning north off State Route 20 onto County Route 6 (Chestnut Street), 4 blocks to West Oak Street, then 2 blocks to Horner Street. Turn right on Horner Street and follow until it ends at the lake, 0.3 of a mile. 

  Description  The lake was in 1981 with a maximum depth of 12 feet and an average depth of 7.5 feet. A path around two-thirds of the lake provides bank fishing access. Car-top boats and electric motors only are permitted. Camping, night fishing, and swimming are not permitted. 

  Fishery  Lumberport Lake provides a warmwater fishery for largemouth bass and sunfish. Northern pike and channel catfish have been stocked since 1983.

  Spring Trout  Not stocked with trout 

  Fall Trout  Does not receive Fall trout stocking
