Directions |
Lumberport Lake is a 6-acre impoundment located 0.5 of a mile north of Lumberport in Harrison County. It is accessible from Lumberport by turning north off State Route 20 onto County Route 6 (Chestnut Street), 4 blocks to West Oak Street, then 2 blocks to Horner Street. Turn right on Horner Street and follow until it ends at the lake, 0.3 of a mile.

Description |
The lake was in 1981 with a maximum depth of 12 feet and an average depth of 7.5 feet. A path around two-thirds of the lake provides bank fishing access. Car-top boats and electric motors only are permitted. Camping, night fishing, and swimming are not permitted.

Fishery |
Lumberport Lake provides a warmwater fishery for largemouth bass and sunfish. Northern pike and channel catfish have been stocked since 1983.
