Curtisville Lake

  Lake  Curtisville Lake 

  Acres  30 

  Directions  Curtisville Lake is a 30-acre impoundment located 7 miles west of Mannington in Marion County. It is accessible from Mannington by Country Route 1 and County Route 7. 

  Description  The lake was constructed in 1984 with a maximum depth of 26 feet and an average depth of 15 feet. Access to the lake is excellent. A paved boat ramp available, however, electric motors only are allowed. A path around the lake provides bank fishing access. Swimming and camping are prohibited. A wheelchair accessible fishing pier is available near the boat ramp. 

  Fishery  Curtisville Lake provides fishing for largemouth bass, channel catfish, and bluegill. Largemouth bass fishing is excellent during spring and fall. Trout are stocked monthly January through April. The lake contains structures such as an island and reefs. 

  National Forest  National Forest Stamp is not required 

  Boating  Electric motors only 

  Camping  No camping allowed 

  Spring Trout  Stocked once each month January through April 

  Fall Trout  Does not receive Fall trout stocking 

  Live Minnows  Live minnows may be used as bait 

  Night Fishing  Night fishing is allowed
