Krodel Lake is a 22-acre impoundment located in Krodel Park City Recreation Area in Mason County, 1 mile east of Point Pleasant. It is accessible from Point Pleasant by WV Route 2 north.

Description |
Krodel Lake was built in 1948 and was deepened during 1975. It has a maximum depth of 10 feet with an average depth of 6 feet. A gravel boat access, flush toilets, and 72 combination trailer and tent campsites are available. A trail surrounding the entire lake provides bank fishing access. Boating with electric motors only is allowed. Night fishing is prohibited. Camping is available mid-April to mid-October.

Fishery |
Krodel Lake provides spring and winter fishing for stocked trout and a warmwater fishery for sunfish, northern pike, largemouth bass, and channel catfish. It is stocked with trout in January and March each year. Fish attractors have been placed in the lake and their locations are designated with signs on shore.
