Coopers Rock Lake is a 6-acre lake located 12 mile east of Morgantown on Coopers Rock State Forest in Monongalia County. It is accessible from Morgantown by I-68 Coopers Rock exit to County Route 73/73.

Description |
The lake was built in 1954 with a maximum depth of 12 feet and an average depth of 5 feet. A paved boat ramp will accommodate small boat trailers and car-top boats. Electric motors only are allowed. A wheelchair accessible fishing pier is available at the dam. Fishing at night and with live minnows is prohibited. A path surrounding the lake provides bank fishing access. Pit toilets and drinking water are available.

Fishery |
Coopers Rock Lake provides fishing for trout stocked once in February, bi-weekly March through May, and twice in October. A limited warmwater fishery exists for largemouth bass and bluegill.
