Indian Rocks Lake

  Lake  Indian Rocks Lake 

  Acres  5 

  Directions  Indian Rocks Lake is a 5-acre impoundment located 1/2 mile north of Craigsville in Nicholas County. 

  Description  The lake was built in 2001 with a maximum depth of 10 feet and an average depth of 4 feet. A gravel parking area and picnic tables are available. A trail surrounds the lake providing bank fishing opportunities. Fish attractors were constructed in the lake before impoundment. No boats are permitted on the lake. 

  Fishery  Indian Rocks Lake was stocked with largemouth bass, adult bluegill and channel catfish. The lake receives moderate fishing pressure and will offer anglers an exciting warmwater fishery as the lake matures. 

  National Forest  National Forest Stamp is not required 

  Boating  No boating allowed 

  Camping  No camping allowed 

  Spring Trout  Stocked once each month February through May 

  Fall Trout  Does not receive Fall trout stocking 

  Live Minnows
