Castleman Run Lake is a 22-acre impoundment located 5 miles east of West Liberty in Ohio and Brooke counties. It is part of Castleman Run Wildlife Management Area and is accessible from West Liberty by WV Route 88, County Route 53, and County Route 53/4.

Description |
The lake was constructed in 1962 with maximum depth of 19 feet and an average depth of 5 feet. A small boat ramp is available however only electric motors allowed. A wheelchair accessible path runs along the dam. A path around two-thirds of the lake provides bank fishing access. Swimming and camping are prohibited.

Fishery |
Castleman Run Lake is stocked with trout stocking once in February and bi-weekly March through May. Largemouth bass and bluegill fishing are considered fair, with best bass fishing from March through June. Adult channel catfish are stocked once during June.
