Seneca Lake is located in Pocahontas County, 2.5 miles southeast of Cloverlick on County Route 1/8. This 3-acre lake was built in 1934 and is within the 11,864-acre Seneca State Forest.

Description |
The lake has a maximum depth of 16 feet and an average depth of 6 feet. No boat launching facility is available but small boats can easily be launched. Swimming, night fishing, the use of live minnows as bait, and the use of gasoline boat motors is prohibited. Seven rental cabins and 10 primitive camping sites are available on the area from the last weekend in April through the first weekend in December. Picnicking facilities and approximately 10 miles of foot trails have been developed.

Fishery |
Seneca Lake is stocked with trout once in February, bi-weekly March through May, and twice in October. Largemouth bass and bluegill fishing is fair throughout the lake.
