Raleigh County Airport Pond is located 3 miles east of Beckley on the property of the Raleigh County Airport and can be accessed via taking the Airport Exit off of I-64 and continuing on County Route 9/9.

Description |
This 1-acre pond has a maximum depth of 10 feet and an average depth of 4 feet.
A gravel path encircles the entire pond and no boat launching facility is available. Swimming, night fishing, and the use of live minnows for bait are prohibited.

Fishery |
Raleigh County Airport pond provides spring fishing for stocked trout to Children and Class Q License holders. The general public is permitted to fish for trout after May 31. This pond provides a limited warmwater fishery for sunfish, channel catfish and largemouth bass.
