Fitzpatrick Lake

  Lake  Fitzpatrick Lake 

  Acres  2.5 

  Directions  Fitzpatrick Lake is a 2.5-acre impoundment in Raleigh County. It is located at Fitzpatrick Park approximately 2 miles southeast of MacArthur on County Route 20 and 20/1. 

  Description  The lake was built in the 1960ís with a maximum depth of 10 feet and an average depth of 4 feet. A trail surrounding the entire lake provides bank fishing access. Boating and camping are not allowed. 

  Fishery  Fitzpatrick Lake provides a warmwater fishery for largemouth bass, sunfish, crappie, and channel catfish. Trout are stocked monthly from January through April. A few bass are taken in early spring or late fall on spinners, minnows, and worms. 

  National Forest  National Forest Stamp is not required 

  Boating  No boating allowed 

  Camping  Camping permit required from area manager 

  Spring Trout  Stocked once each month January through April 

  Fall Trout  Does not receive Fall trout stocking 

  Live Minnows  Live minnows may not be used as bait 

  Night Fishing  Night fishing is allowed
