Lick Creek Lake

  Directions  Lick Creek Pond is a 5-acre impoundment located 6.5 miles south of East Lynn on WV Route 37 then 0.5 mile east on county route 37/14 in Wayne County. 

  Description  The lake was constructed in1992 with a maximum depth of 8 feet and an average depth of 4 feet. A path around the pond provides bank fishing access. Night fishing and the use of live minnows are permitted while camping; boating and swimming are prohibited. 

  Fishery  Lick Creek Pond provides spring and winter fishing for stocked trout and a warmwater fishery for largemouth bass, channel catfish and sunfish. Trout are stocked monthly January through April. 

  National Forest  National Forest Stamp is not required 

  Boating  No boating allowed 

  Camping  No camping allowed 

  Spring Trout  Stocked once each month January through April 

  Fall Trout  Does not receive Fall trout stocking 

  Live Minnows  Live minnows may be used as bait 

  Night Fishing  Night fishing is allowed
