Logan County Airport Pond

  Lake  Logan County Airport Pond 

  Acres  1 

  Directions  Logan County Airport Pond is a 1-acre impoundment located 3.5 miles south of Logan on county route 119/8 off state Route 17 on Logan County Commission land near the Logan Airport in Logan County. 

  Description  The lake was constructed with a maximum depth of 8 feet and an average depth of 4 feet. This pond is managed as a Children and Class Q Handicap Fishing Area and a fishing pier is available for use. A path around the pond provides bank fishing access. Night fishing, the use of live minnows, camping, boating and swimming are prohibited. 

  Fishery  Logan County Airport Pond provides spring fishing for stocked trout to Children and Class Q License holders. This pond provides a limited warmwater fishery for sunfish, channel catfish and largemouth bass. The general public is permitted to fish for trout after May 31. 

  National Forest  National Forest Stamp is not required 

  Boating  No boating allowed 

  Camping  No camping allowed 

  Spring Trout  Stocked once in April 

  Fall Trout  Does not receive Fall trout stocking 

  Live Minnows  Live minnows may not be used as bait 

  Night Fishing  Night fishing is not allowed
