PAT Requirements

Upper Body Strength

Must be able to complete 18 properly executed push-ups within one minute.

Aerobic Power (1.5 Mile Run)

Must be able to complete the 1.5 mile run within 15 minutes, 20 seconds.

Muscular Endurance

Must be able to complete 27 properly executed sit-ups within one minute.

Swimming Test

Must be able to swim 37 ½ yards fully clothed. Street clothes (long pants and shirt) must be worn. Sweat pants or jogging suits are not permitted. Facilities will be available for applicants to change into appropriate clothing for the remainder of the tests after swimming.

Applicants are to meet in the lobby and walk ins will be accepted. Afterwards, applicants will move to Oak Field to complete the tests.
NOTE that the location has changed!
Directions: from the east take I-64 and exit at Exit 54 MacCorkle Ave.. Turn left at bottom of ramp and turn left again at the next traffic light onto Jefferson Rd. (Bob Evans Rest. on corner).
From the west take Exit 54 and continue right (2 rights) onto Jefferson Rd.
The Community Center is an eighth of a mile on the right.
