R. D. Bailey dam is on the Guyandotte River near the southern West Virginia town of Justice in Wyoming County. From Justice take Route 52 East. Turn left off route 52 at the R.D. Bailey sign.

The lake was completed in 1980 as a flood control lake on the Guyandotte River.
